October Newsletter Update

From the Editor

Thanks to everyone for your responses to the October “Log of the Trail”! Here are some updates and clarifications:

From JeanĀ  Hardy-Pittman at Front Street Books:

Thank you for sending me this newsletter each month. I want to personally invite all TMTW members to come to Edy’s reading and signing on the 23rd, if you can. Also want to honor Wordwright Biz and any other authors they have “incubated.” Bring your own books to brag about!

From Linda LaRoque:

I’m pleased to announce Flames on The Sky, the second book in my time travel series The Turquoise Legacy, is out in paperback and available at The Wild Rose Press and Amazon. Thanks! Linda

From Reba Cross Seals about Operation Desert Swap:

By the way, the original point of the Operation Desert Swap book exchange with the armed forces was to have another outlet for all authors to get their books in the hands of many, who would pass them around, and tell (publicize) back home, etc. And they just added “any book that you might like to buy” later. I think that is an important point for all us authors who are always looking for another outlet to get our books to the public. I’ve been studying on ways to sell “beyond the bookstore” now.

Remember to send me your bits of news and comments!
