Retreat 2013:
The retreat fee covers the Friday night reception at Front Street Books Reading Room in Alpine, all sessions with speakers, meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast, and membership dues for 2013. (Your guests may attend the Saturday dinner at an additional cost.) There will be an opportunity to sell your work at tables during the retreat. Please select a table option if you are planning on selling. There is an Early Bird Discount in effect until March 25th. Registrations received after April 5th are subject to space available and may have to be declined.
Membership For 2013:
Dues are included in the retreat cost. The membership period is from April 30, 2013 to April 29, 2014 and includes Log of the Trail (monthly club newsletter); ability to publish work in and one copy of Chaos West of the Pecos (annual published collection of members’ works); table space for book sales at the retreat; and notices about conferences, retreats, contests, and writing events.

Lodging Available at the Retreat Location (Fort Davis, Texas)
Retreat planners will not make lodging reservations. Instead you will deal directly with the Mountain Trails Lodge management.
Sixteen cabins are available at the center – first come, first served. There are four cabins with a single queen bed and twelve with two double beds. Each cabin has a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and climate control. Linens are provided. The rate is $89.00 plus tax a night for either single or double occupancy. Check with the management if you want to house more than two people in a cabin. RV hookups are not available at the center but there may be space to park if you speak with Mountain Trails Lodge.
To reserve a cabin or for questions call 432-426-3841 or 1-800-403-3484. You must contact them, not TMTW, if you need to cancel your lodging reservation.
Alternate Lodging Sites
RV sites and other motel/hotel rooms are available in Fort Davis, Alpine, and Marfa. Check these Chamber of Commerce websites: www.fortdavis.com (Accommodations); www.alpinetexas.com (Visit Alpine);or www.marfacc.com (Lodging, Camping/Trailering). If this is your choice, reserve early. This is a busy time in the Big Bend.
Cancellation Policy:
